Pile of Moose

We drove north to Jacques-Cartier National Wildlife Reserve in search of moose. The parks are cool in Quebec. Drive back to any remote lake and there are rowboats ready for you to use. We picked a lake and found our boat.

After we got munched by black flies for a while we rowed back and drove farther down the road.

And then we saw it. A whole pile of rotting moose. I kid you not. Freaky.

When we wished we could see some moose, we were hoping they'd actually, you know, be alive.

Our guess is that we stumbled upon a roadkill dump. Ewwwww. u

20 years ago, maybe on that very same road, Bob was running from from his first Moose. Now, The 4 Welches are running from the rotting carcases of dead moose!
Must be a lesson here!
Glad you day got better in Quebec!!
