There's nothing like a night at Fenway Park...
...with your son. They lost. But it was a great game.
I decided to give Flickr a try. Take a look at the right side of the blog. -->

After reading about this tragedy I settle in to do some writing for a client that makes little avatars you can use in IMs and email. They kind of look like South Park characters and they're funny little buggers.
And just then there is this really violent thunder and lightning storm. And I'm rushing around closing windows. And then it starts to hail. And I mean HAIL, with hail stones that are 2-3 inches in diameter. They're just punching out of the sky.
We're "down the Cape" for a few days visiting Mike and Rosemary in their beautiful beach house overlooking Provincetown and having a well-deserved break. After making it through a few harrowing deadlines at work, I'm way behind on chronicling a few significant events...pictures of our trip to Rochester and some thoughts about our 20th Anniversary. But don't worry I'll catch up. But right now all I'm catching is a breather!
This weekend we're heading off to Rochester, NY. And while I've lived a bunch of places, Rochester is still my hometown.
A shout out to anyone who knows and loves the home of Kodak, Wegmans (the best grocery store on the planet), The House of Guitars, Abbot's Custard, Schaler's (where they grill up the best hots and hams) and Nick Tahou's…where the specialty is The Garbage Plate.
The Schreiner family has way to many reasons to throw a big party. Mostly it's because Jon is graduating high school and going off to SUNY Fredonia. We're all really proud of Jon. But add to that that Dan and Jim just graduated from Clarkson and are heading off to the work world. Then add that Jim and Jenna are jumping right into the post-college world head-first. They're getting married next June. Oh and Big Dan is turning the big 5-0. So, all tolled, that's a good reason to throw a bunch of Genny Lite's in the cooler and invite 150 of your closest friends and relatives.

After much poking around along the waterfront in Gloucester, past the Crow's Nest bar where the guys from The Perfect Storm drank their last drink and past the Gorton's fish factory, we ended up at Rocky Neck, the oldest art colony in America. It says so right on the banner over the road.
